Kaduna Restaurant

Kaduna Restaurant is an interior design and renovation project that transforms an existing first-floor commercial space into a sophisticated dining destination. Working with Ritji Daniels Associates, our design objective was to create a modern environment that feels undeniably international while remaining deeply rooted in the cultural textures of Northern Nigeria. 

The project prioritizes cozy spaces and filtered light. We introduced large-scale glazing to the open terrace and perforated partitions that reference traditional Northern craftsmanship, allowing the space to breathe and interact with the Kaduna skyline. The palette is a sophisticated blend of cool industrial finishes balanced by warm, earthy tones and bespoke timber elements, creating a tactile experience that is both contemporary and culturally resonant.

The layout is zoned to provide a variety of dining experiences, from vibrant communal tables to quiet, secluded corners for private conversation. We utilized high ceilings and strategic lighting to define these zones, ensuring the space feels grand yet comfortable. Every material choice—from the textured wall treatments to the custom-designed furniture—was selected to celebrate local motifs through a minimalist, modern lens. The result is a refined urban sanctuary that serves as a high-end cultural anchor within the city.
